I am Rich Stevens, former sports editor of The Intelligencer in Wheeling and former assistant sports editor of the Charleston Daily Mail. I have a great admiration for West Virginians and our high school athletics, which were the cornerstone of my journalism career.
I am a life member of the West Virginia Sports Writers Association but no longer operating the organization’s website, WVSWA.org, which I launched in August of 2019. I have decided to go solo for this one.
