The 2026 West Virginia boys high school basketball head-to-head regional records for each team through games of Feb. 24. Capital, a member of Class AAA’s Region 3, finished sixth in balloting despite a 17-4 record and victories over 4A foes Cabell Midland (1-0), Huntington (1-0), Hurricane (1-0), Riverside (1-0), and Woodrow Wilson (2-0). Two of Capital’s four losses prior to balloting deadline came on the road to Class AAAA’s Parkersburg South and George Washington.
